Paralegal

As a Paralegal you would be joining our fast-paced commercial leasing team, responsible for the continued growth and success of the Company’s commercial property portfolio. You would work closely with the leasing team throughout the leasing process, from drafting commercial lease documents, assisting in lease-related discussions with tenants, ensuring that all lease agreements are accurately prepared, executed and recorded within our system, and maintaining communication throughout our tenants’ occupancy. This is a five days per week in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Work with commercial leasing team from writing the initial lease draft through the full lease execution and tenant move-in
• Review and process lease agreements for accuracy and compliance with company objectives
• Ensure lease agreements are accurately prepared to reflect terms of executed Lease Proposal
• Collaborate with commercial leasing team to effectively manage tenant responses during lease negotiations and leasing cycle
• Accurately record all lease-related information including rents, escalations, tenant information, etc. in Company database
• Assist leasing team with tracking critical lease dates, and communicating with tenants regarding lease obligations throughout their occupancy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience in lease administration or related field
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to effectively write and interpret lease documents and language
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in lease management software and/or ability to quickly learn
