Paralegal

Maven is looking to hire a Paralegal to provide high-level paralegal support to our Legal and Compliance Team. This individual will be involved in reviewing and managing a variety of client and vendor contracts, supporting licensing and credentialing, as well as supporting the team with special and ad-hoc projects to advance Maven’s initiatives and mission. Responsibilities

• Review contracts, including NDAs (third-party forms & redlines to Maven's form) and vendor agreements (gradually moving from simple to complex, e.g. Media Insertion Orders & Order Forms, Letter Agreements, Subscription Agreements, SOWs, MSAs, etc.)
• Review client forms / policies (e.g. Corporate Info, Conflict of Interest, Code of Ethics) 
• Lead in completing state filings with CSC (registered agent) filing management for Maven & provider groups
• Manage contract execution process (e.g. signature requests, tracking, filing) 
• Maintenance of Maven’s corporate and related records
• Support provider credentialing and licensing by assisting with the submission and tracking of licensing and credentialing requests and communications amongst   state licensing boards,vendors, and the Provider Operations team   
• Provide general administrative assistance (e.g. scheduling, printing, mailing, etc.)
• Support special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed - flexibility and a willingness to contribute in both small and big ways is important
• Assist the attorneys on a variety of issues, including commercial, privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal degree 
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred, ideally in legal operations at a high-growth health or tech company
• Prior exposure to legal documents, concepts and workflows (ideally prior negotiating or contract review experience)
• Tech savvy and proficient with technology applications, including experience managing contract management tools such as Ironclad, and additional tools such as Google suite, Asana, and Salesforce
• Solid time management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think quickly and be resourceful; you meet deadlines
