Paralegal

Job Location: New York, NY / Remote
Exiger has an immediate opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Legal team.
 
This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn what in-house counsel does behind the scenes at a fast-growing tech-enabled company. Under the supervision of the Legal team, the Paralegal will receive a variety of work assignments in multiple practice areas, which may include: employment, privacy, marketing, litigation, intellectual property, and more.
 
As a member of the Global Shared Services (GSS) team, you will work to support the business units, geographic locations and Exiger leadership. Units within GSS include: Talent and Culture, Finance, Growth & Marketing, Legal, IT Security/Support and our Administrative team.
 
This is a fixed term temporary opportunity located in New York.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of RFI/RFP/Vendor Onboarding Questionnaires.
• Maintain a database of responses to RFI/RFP/Vendor Onboarding Questionnaires
• Coordinate with business development representatives and other internal stakeholders to obtain the necessary corporation documentation and information.
• Work with the Legal team to craft answers to respond to questionnaires.
• For all new clients, perform checks on proprietary databases to help the Legal team asses potential conflict of interest
• Partner with the Legal team and interact with internal stakeholders on multiple projects, including obtaining signatures and other closing-related tasks.
• Assist the Legal team with various tasks related to the internal corporate compliance program, including legal research and policy drafting.

Professional Experience Required

• Bachelors Degree from top educational institution or equivalent experience.
• Up to three years of experience in a paralegal or project management role preferred but not required
• Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership ability
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and willingness to get in the weeds of support to resolve issues
• Enjoys entrepreneurial environments and wants to help build something meaningful
