Paralegal – Legal Operations

Role Purpose:

As a Paralegal in the Legal Operations team, you will provide broad support to the Legal Operations team and play a crucial role in the implementation and management of our contracts database, which underpins business objectives spanning the Legal, Finance, and GTM teams.

This position will report to the Vice President of Legal Operations and is ideal for someone with previous paralegal in-house experience, is tech-savvy and has strong project management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Platform Implementation: Be a key contributor to the implementation of our AI-powered contracts database and become a subject matter expert of the platform to support strategic business initiatives and projects.
• Escalation Support to Self-Service Offering: Assist with establishing a self-service portal for business users and act as an initial escalation point for business queries and contract support.
• Contract Generation: Implement a contract generation process to deliver process efficiencies for our GTM team.
• Internal Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the Legal team to manage stakeholder input during the contracting lifecycle.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Assist with the management of our external legal providers, including exploring and implementing tech-supported process improvements.
• RFP Support: Work closely with Accelya’s bid management team to manage legal input into RFP responses, and co-ordinate input from other business functions in response queries issued by the Legal team.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience: 1-2+ years’ experience in a similar Paralegal role.
• Contract Knowledge: Solid understanding of key contract clauses, NDAs, contract amendments, and vendor contracts.
• Project Management: Demonstrative experience of managing, and collaborating within, cross-functional projects.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and ensure attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry Background: Experience within SaaS or Telco sectors is desirable, though not required.
