Paralegal / Contracts Manager

We are seeking a tech-savvy, client-centric Paralegal (US Contracts Manager) to join the Bynder Legal Team as we scale Bynder’s legal operations and contract management program. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on legal operations for a dynamic, market leading SaaS company, working as part of a high-performance legal team. We are open to remote candidates in US states where Bynder currently supports employees, but preference will be given to candidates located in New England or the New York tri-state area. 

Reporting to the US General Counsel, the Paralegal will be a critical member of our lean global legal team in delivering high-quality, timely, and business-minded support to Bynder’s sales team and other key stakeholders around the world. 

What you will do:

• Collaborate closely with in-house lawyers, sales and customer success teams, other business stakeholders, customers and other external parties to manage processing of commercial contracts, leveraging technology solutions and other resources to guide ongoing collaboration with internal clients and assist in managing department priorities.
• Primary US oversight for Bynder’s contract lifecycle management system (SpotDraft), including updating templates and workflows and ensuring contracts are accurately tracked and stored within the system. 
• Assist in overall legal department operations management; identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the legal department.
• Review and edit order forms, agreements, amendments, renewals, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial contracts, and coordinate contract execution, in accordance with Bynder’s practices and policies and under the supervision of in-house attorneys.
• Conduct other projects as required, such as research, document retention and production; or otherwise assisting the legal department at the direction of in-house lawyers.

What you will bring:

• A proactive mindset and out-of-the box thinking.
• A can-do, hands-on mentality.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible paralegal experience, preferably with an in-house legal team.
• A bachelors’ degree 
• Prior experience as a contract manager and/or familiarity with CLM systems is a significant plus. 
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of teamwork, professionalism, attention to detail and responsibility.
• Excellent command of the English language; other language skills a plus.
