Withum is currently Seeking a Accounting Paraprofessional. 

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Daily data entries from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (deposit/invoicing) and other entries as necessary;
• Assisting with preparation of payroll processing; and
• Assisting with preparation of annual audits and tax returns

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred;
• Previous experience handling accounts payable and accounts receivable; experience processing payroll is a plus;
• Experience using payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex is preferred;
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word strongly preferred;
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships;
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment;
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills; and
• Ability to travel locally across the Metropolitan NY area
