Part Time Hotel Reseller Ambassador (Contractor)
Job Description
What is a Sojern Ambassador?
Sojern is looking for Part Time Property Reseller Ambassadors that are in-market independent contractors who will resell Sojern's property solutions to a target list of hotels. They earn 10% commission on revenue generated for the first 12 months on each property they sign up. Total revenue generated is dependent on the quality of the hotel and number of solutions sold.
- In-market region: Dallas (must be based in location or have strong knowledge of that specific market)
- OTA Market Manager or Media sales experience preferred
How does the Ambassador Program Work?
The Ambassador program is structured to set up our ambassadors for success as follows:
- Sales Training - each ambassador will take part in a training program that includes online learning, role-play, and on-going coaching.
- Sales Material - each ambassador is provided sales materials including presentations, collateral, and demos where appropriate.
- Target List - each ambassador will have a named target list of hotel in their market
- Inside Sales Liaison - each ambassador will have an assigned inside sales liaison to support them with Sojern operations - from salesforce opportunity management to FAQs.
What solutions do Ambassadors sell?
The initial solutions the Ambassador will sell is Sojern’s Travel Media - Pay on the Stay. This pay for performance solution drives direct bookings to hotels websites through Sojern’s digital marketing platform that runs advertising across multiple channels including: display, social media, meta and SEM.Â
How much can an Ambassador earn?
Ambassadors earn 10% of all gross revenue collected by Sojern on all solutions sold for the first 12 months the program is activated. Top properties sold can generate commissions ranging from $1,500 - $4,000+ / year.
Payment Timing: Ambassadors are paid an advance of 50% of the expected commission earings once the property is signed and activated. The remaining payments are monthly once the advance has been earned out.Â
