Title: Part-Time Student-IT Software Development-Chicago IL-Partial Remote - 90409
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities

• Build the observability platform and tooling that teams around the enterprise will use.
• Practice good software development practices and DevOps.
• Pair with team members to deliver value.
• Practice Agile delivery methods.

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
• Graduation date of December 2022 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Available to work 16-20 hours/weekly
• Available to work 35-40 hours/weekly during the summer.
• Must be able to commute to the Chicago office 2-3 times weekly with flexibility for partial remote work

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with different DevOps type of tooling (Ex: Drone, Github & Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Black duck, Artifactory, Sonar, Linting Tools, etc)
• Experience with different languages (Ex: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, Scala, etc)
• Experience using containers for orchestration of servers (Ex: Docker, ECS/K8s, etc)
