Part-time writer and editor

Graduate school admissions consulting company seeking part-time editors to work on graduate school application documents. All work is remote and can be done from your own computer.

Hours/week: 15-30

Pay: $25/hour

-There is no fixed schedule and jobs can be done any time before the deadline

***Requirements***

-No formal experience is required but excellent writing and editing skills are essential
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Available for at least 15 hours/week
-Some weekend availability. Please note that there are no fixed work times and jobs (which normally take 2-3 hours each) can be done anytime before the deadline so in practice this requirement means that you can do a 2-3 hour editing job *at a time of your choosing* on Sat and/or Sun. Also we have a system to mark days you can’t take editing work and it’s not a problem to take the occasional weekend off. However because of their busy work schedules our clients send much of their “homework” on the weekend (which we then edit) so we can’t accept editors who need to take all or most weekends off.
