Partner Development Associate
Job Description
The Partner Development Associate works alongside Citizen leadership and the Impact and Growth teams to tailor solutions for a growing market of mission-driven companies, efforts, and organizations, drawing on Citizen's suite of data products and services. They field prospective partner requests and needs, and design, draft, and distribute proposals, leaning on other internal teams as needed.
In addition to proposals, the Partner Development Associate is responsible for helping to position Citizen to meet its business goals. This includes supporting Citizen with developing high-level growth strategies, managing our internal sales CRM, systematically tracking opportunities, generating revenue forecasts, analyzing the competitive landscape, and managing relationships with prospective and existing partners. The Partner Development Associate additionally supports the identification and development of new systems and processes that make our capabilities even more effective and efficient.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, draft, & deploy proposals in collaboration with the Citizen team
- Support Citizen leadership with the development of sales materials and pitch decks
- Provide support to senior account managers during all phases of the sales life-cycle, including, but not limited to, email outreach campaigns, prospect meetings, and follow-ups
- Interface with and develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with current and potential Citizen clients
- Manage Citizen's CRM, systematically tracking opportunities, organizing client contacts, and generating revenue reports
- Update and maintain prospect lists
- Support Citizen leadership with high-level growth strategies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 0-4 years of experience in business development, growth, and/or strategic partnerships
- Demonstrated understanding of Citizen market landscape, existing relationships with organizations relevant to Citizen's work is a plus
- Sharp problem-solving skills and a quick learner
- Excellent written communications
- Keen attention to detail
- Extremely well-organized
- Background knowledge of data, product, democracy, and/or tech spaces preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit and preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Alignment with and commitment to Citizen's mission
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
