About the RoleYou will directly contribute to Brightpearl's growth by expanding our ecosystem of agency and technology partners. You will do this by identifying, motivating, and recruiting new referral partners, qualify our partner sourced leads, and nurture leads driven by our partner marketing team. You will be working closely with the Partner Managers on your team to target the very best digital web development agencies and ecommerce technology vendors who share the same ideal customer profile, and identify new partnership opportunities. This is a great opportunity to work cross-functionally with our Marketing and Sales teams.
Your Day-to-Day- Identify and manage a qualified database of potential partners
- Recruit new web agency and technology partners
- Engage and educate new partners around mutual opportunity
- Arrange initial discovery calls with the Partner Managers, where you have identified an opportunity to partner
- Collaborate with the Brightpearl Partner Marketing team to plan and execute campaigns to attract new partners, and nurture leads driven by partner marketing activities
- Qualify newly sourced leads driven by partners
- Adopt best practices defined in the Brightpearl Sales Playbooks (Sales, BDR, Partner)
- Make sure that records are kept up to date and accurately, to track partner recruitment
Requirements
About You- Experience in a business development role
- Desire to learn and succeed in a partner role
- Engaging presentation skills
- Genuine rapport building skills, with a persuasive phone manner
- Great organization and time management skills
- IT literate and great at online research
- Ability to deal with rejection and bounce back quickly
- Experience of ecommerce technologies is preferable
