PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Partner Management Specialist supports the day-to-day execution operations for verticals: strategy, partner development and partner management elements for MGM Resorts International including via event specific, consumer impacting high profile programming: local, regional, and global and partnership elements. In addition, manages the day-to-day impressions, consumer engagement and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure successful development of ancillary revenue opportunities and cross property visitation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and MGM Resorts International policies and procedures and legal requirements. At all times, must ensure the goals and interest of the department, division, and all MGM Resorts International properties (individually and collectively) are upheld and preserved.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports internal/external resources for creation, planning, and coordination of partner initiatives to ensure accurate execution of engaging partners and inbound and outbound development, including communications across all supporting resort departments.
  • Supports partner development and management elements which include activating around key customer milestones and capitalizing around local/regional/global high-profile lifestyle events throughout the city.
  • Supports comprehensive strategies for partner development and management process, including budgeting, calendar planning, communication, agency execution, KORE, evaluation, optimization, etc. Makes recommendations to management and provides execution of high value programs. In addition, support the strategy team via vertical as needed.
  • Fulfillment of individual/small partner agreements that need to be executed and maintained.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams in order to achieve departmental goals, which may include advertising, entertainment marketing, media planners/buyers, legal, risk management, public relations, casino marketing, corporate marketing, front line operations, strategic sourcing, information technology, national and international market development, and resort teams.
  • Supports department on customized event partnership elements. Executes individual event wrap-ups and other post event elements. Exercises discretion and independent judgement serving as the point-of-contact and being on-site at events.
  • Serves as an active role in the industry by attending and representing division and corporation at trade related functions.
  • Executes partner logistics related to the company's partnerships. Travel and hospitality preparations including: air/hotel reservations, restaurant reservations, gifting, transportation, and shipment of event materials.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field or years of related experience.
  • KORE system experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year in sports, entertainment, sales, marketing, events, advertising, or media.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Able to travel both nationally and internationally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read formal proposals and extract into a comprehensive term sheet.
  • Builds and maintains strong internal and external professional relationships.
  • Ability to influence across teams to achieve goals as required.
  • Navigates a complex organization with a wide variety of target consumers.
  • Effectively communicates in English, in both oral and written forms.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Must be flexible for occasional work outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
