Role Description:

As a Partner Manager, you'll lead our freight partnerships strategy - from ideation to relationship-building to execution.

You'll be able to plug in with our existing freight programs to deliver comarketing and co-selling opportunities from day one. You'll nurture our tier 1 partners, like Flexport, and build programs together that add value to shared merchants.

You'll be accountable for referral revenue pipeline targets (leads, qualified opportunities, and pipeline revenue), as well as activations of net new freight customers to our partners.

What you'll do:
  • Deepen existing freight relationships with constant touchpoints, educational programs, quarterly business reviews, incentive programs, revenue share and more.
  • Run millions of dollars in annual deal flow by managing referrals from freight partners that do not specialize in core ShipBob competencies.
  • Build and execute a freight partner strategy with the head of partnerships, organizing partners into functional areas and tiers.
  • Be the voice and advocate of our freight partners to internal stakeholders, including account management, sales, and onboarding teams.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you'll bring to the table:
  • Familiarity with the 3PL business model.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding business models, terms and capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial/self starter tendencies.
  • Ability to "scale yourself".
