Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Owns the System Integrator business development strategy for all System Integrators in the Houston Territory.
  • Focuses on top SI accounts as well as coordinating with the distributor to cover all SIs in the Territory.
  • Analyzes account requirements and develops account strategies for assigned SI accounts.
  • Maintains a regular success planning cadence with Gold and Silver SI partners.
  • Coordinates with other SI Account Managers, as appropriate, when that SI partners have locations in multiple Territories.
  • Establishes relationships at all levels within the top SI accounts.
  • Understands top SI accounts processes and business model.
  • Advocates for assigned SI partners inside and outside of the Territory, as appropriate.
  • Participates in decisions with End User Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers to determine the best way to deliver a solution to a customer, whether it be RA or SI delivered.
  • Maintains opportunity funnel within RA's CRM platform for assigned SI accounts.
  • Develops strategy to assess, manage and enhances SI partner competency through use of online and in-person training and event participation.
  • Initiates and participates in best practice discussions with peer SI Account Managers.
  • Sets and helps manage internal and external partner expectations.
  • Ensures thorough familiarity with Company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Relevant Experience in Sales
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel via company car 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program:
  • Sales Account Manager Level 2 - 2 years
  • Sales Account Manager Level 3 - 5 years
  • Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation customer including executives, engineers, and operations personnel.
