Job Description

The System Integrator Partner Manager develops and implements sales strategies and plans to grow the established business at assigned System Integrator (SI)/ Solution Provider (SP) accounts and the system integrator community to exceed annual sales goals and grow Rockwell Automation share with customers. You will establish relationships at Partner-level system integrators and engaging with the Territory team and distributors to ensure efficient use of resources.

What You Will Do:

  • You will lead the System Integrator business development strategy focused on growing the business at assigned SI accounts and developing small to mid-tier Systems Integrators.
  • You will develop, together with the Channel team and the distributor, account deployment strategy to coordinate activities and resource use to ensure appropriate account coverage, clear responsibilities and identification/resolution of any coverage gaps.
  • You will maintain a regular planning rhythm with any assigned Gold and Silver Systems Integrator Partners to accomplish success plans.
  • You will coordinate with other SI Partner Managers, who are responsible for the HQ locations, when that Partner has locations in your geography.
  • You will establish relationships at all levels within assigned SI accounts to understand customer priorities, focuses, and business model.
  • You will advocate for assigned System Integrators with our other vertical selling teams by guiding relationships and opportunities that help your SI grow their business according to our strategies.
  • You will participate in decisions with Account Management team, and Strategic/Global Account Managers, to determine the best way to deliver a solution to a customer whether it be Rockwell Automation or SI delivered.
  • You will maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Customer Relationship Management system for assigned accounts.
  • You will develop strategy to enhance partner competency through use of online and in person training and event participation for the SI community.
  • You will initiate and participate in best practice discussions with peer SI Partner Managers.
  • You will engage others within Rockwell Automation to plan for and win opportunities.
  • You will work with SI Program Manager to set, and help manage, internal and external partner expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel locally greater than 25% of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline. Additional business-related degree/experience
  • Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program.
  • Typically requires 5+ years' experience.
  • Experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plant (customer) including VPs, plant engineers and OEM machine builders.
