Partner Marketing Manager
Job Description
The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing our commercial and government partner marketing strategy to most effectively leverage our global network of technology partners, solution providers, integrators, value added resellers, and other strategic partnerships that are important extensions of our business. As a member of our marketing organization, the Partner Marketing Manager will work closely with our partnership, sales, product and strategy teams to ensure that our partners have the resources and guidance they need to generate leads, close deals and provide an exceptional level of support for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Build a comprehensive partner marketing strategy that supports our 2023 objectives, while enabling us to scale programs as we continue to expand into new industries and geographies around the world.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our global network of strategic partners, acting as their primary point of contact within the Boston Dynamics marketing team.
- Coach partners on their marketing strategies to ensure they are most effectively utilizing their relationship with Boston Dynamics while broadening our reach via partner enablement programs.
- Understand our partners' value propositions and develop messaging, tools and programs that leverage and communicate our combined capabilities.
- Develop, communicate and enforce strategic branding guidelines that ensure the Boston Dynamics brand identity is consistently and professionally represented in all partner marketing materials and programs.
- Help facilitate partner-driven case studies that can effectively demonstrate the potential of our products to new and existing customers.
- Work with colleagues within the marketing team to develop compelling partner marketing resources, including sales collateral, event support, videos, social media content and other assets.
- Develop co-marketing budgets (if applicable) and strategies that can build pipeline and better leverage our partners' customer and prospect networks.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of partner-led marketing programs, and provide strategic guidance to help continually improve those efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the Boston Dynamics partner portal, by adding content and identifying new capabilities over time that can help add value to that tool. Work with marketing operations and sales counterparts to optimize the overall value of the site.
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for partner marketing activities within Boston Dynamics. Work closely with the sales and partnership teams to support their efforts.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing and strategic partner relationship management, ideally in robotics, automation technology or enterprise software environments.
- Experience working with strategic sales, service and integrator partners to develop co-marketing initiatives that drive pipeline.
- Experience managing and optimizing a dedicated partner portal tool.
- Strong project management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial focus and mindset, with the ability to recognize new opportunities to creatively expand our business through our partner network.
Travel:
- Occasional travel (25-35%) to partner locations, customer sites and industry events will be needed.
