Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and execution of flagship programs, including residency and incubation initiatives that support the creation of new research organizations
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with government bodies, funding agencies, and research institutions across the UK
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies, aligning operational expansion with long-term organizational objectives
- Represent the organization within the UK ecosystem, engaging with policymakers, academic leaders, and industry stakeholders
- Oversee governance responsibilities by serving on boards, providing strategic direction, and ensuring alignment with mission and compliance standards
- Drive the development of internal infrastructure, including hiring, operational systems, and team management
- Collaborate with global teams to align regional initiatives with broader organizational strategy
- Identify funding opportunities and support the development of proposals and partnerships that drive sustainable growth
- Extensive experience in leadership roles within the UK science, innovation, or policy ecosystem
- Strong understanding of UK research funding structures, including public sector dynamics and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of building and scaling programs, partnerships, or organizations from the ground up
- Experience working across both startup environments and institutional or government settings
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, including executives, policymakers, and academic leaders
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational execution capabilities
- Experience in governance or board-level roles is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives
- High adaptability and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Competitive salary ranging from £150,000 to £200,000, based on experience and location
