About the Role:

As a Sr. Partner Sales Engineer, you'll work closely with our partner network and play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward. You will develop and nurture relationships with partners across the region, helping partners to understand the benefits of Traceable, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. This individual will serve as the primary contact for partners, providing technical expertise, conducting product demos, training events and supporting the sales process.  

The Partner Sales Engineer will collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment with partner strategies and objectives. You will also jointly present at partner-led events and trade shows. Driving partner adoption and mindshare will be vital to your success, as well as your ability to maintain proficiency in cybersecurity domains, Traceable’s products, and sales acumen.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative technical programs and oversee day-to-day channel and account level activities.
• Responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting API Security platform with partners throughout your region.
• Deliver demos to customers/partner and work hands-on with customers/partner to demonstrate Traceable’s value in customer/partner environments.
• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Traceable’s products and competitive API Security offerings.

Role Experience & Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required
• Prior experience serving in the capacity of a channel sales engineer at a SaaS security vendor
• Knowledge of the Application Security industry, products, vendor landscape, history, and emerging trends. Prior experience in API security, API management, SIEM, Software Development, DevOps, DevSecOps, or web application firewalls is preferred 
• Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, k8s, etc)
• Experience presenting and delivering technical pitches to CISOs, architects, and technical staff
• Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments & microservices architectures - especially as it relates to security and compliance requirements
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space
• Prior experience in a highly dynamic, startup environment
• Highly motivated, driven, and self-directed individual with grit
• Must be able to communicate business and technical value to all levels of management
• Excellent communication, persuasive, and listening skills
