We’re building a world-class business development team and are looking for a multi-talented self-starter with ambition and hunger that will help grow Calm’s product and commercial partnerships worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
Calm has a wide range of consumer-facing partnerships across industries including telecoms, retailers, ecommerce, finance, sports, auto, consumer goods, and more. Partners are geographically spread from the USA to Australia and we’re expanding with new partnerships all the time.
We are now seeking an experienced Partner Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership and guidance to our partner ecosystem, assist with technical implementation of new strategic partnerships, and work with partners to understand, scope, and ultimately integrate the partnership. The Partner Solution Engineer will work closely with our Business Development Managers and Strategic Partner Managers who lead partner acquisition and partner launches. This person will also build an internal library of responses to these various requests and maintain them so they are consistently accurate and up to date.
Travel may be involved. You will report to the Head of Partner Success and work cross-functionally with other Calm teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, CX…). Although you will be the first Partner Solution Engineer in the team, pending business growth and performance, there may be the opportunity to form and lead a team in the future.
- Participate in partner evaluation and review alongside Business Development Managers
- Partner with other relevant departments across Calm’s business to drive win – win opportunities such as Product, Marketing, and more.
- Manage request timelines, project plans and technical proposals to allow internal team members the necessary time to respond while complying with due dates
- Act as primary liaison between Calm and partners for technical needs
- Assess current state of technical proposal / request procedures and continually recommend and implement improvements
- Interact with cross-functional partners in a fast-past environment
- Multi-task several partnerships at once
- Familiarity with API integrations
Who You Are:
- 4-5 yrs significant working experience within technology companies
- Experience interacting with backend services, frameworks, and developer APIs
- Experience in and evaluating technical implementations with partners
- Keen sense for prioritization, both internally and externally with partners
- A self-starter that isn’t afraid to step in when needed
- Ability to interact and work cross-functionally with other team members
- Open to working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- BA/BS degree
- Fluent in English
