Partner Success Coordinator
Job Description
Discovery Education is searching for a Partner Success Coordinator (PSC) located in Charlotte, NC to develop customer relationships that promote retention and product loyalty.
As a member of our Inside Partner Success team, you will work closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the services they receive and improve upon areas of dissatisfaction. You will manage ongoing customer relationships at scale and ensure long-term customer success while ensuring activities and communication are properly documented. As a PSC, you will be involved in all aspects of customer support, account management, product demonstrations and customer education.
The Inside Partner Success Team is based out of our corporate headquarters which is in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC.
In this hybrid role, you will work 2-3 days onsite and the remainder can be worked remotely. This role may require seasonal travel of up to 5-10% of your time.
What you will do:
- Understand customer outcomes/goals by communicating with customers and analyzing customer health metrics.
- Serve as the primary contact for the onboarding of new customers.
- Maintain accurate/timely records within CRM tools of business development activities and coordinate development reports and outreach dashboards regarding all prospective partner activities.
- Appropriately and pro-actively merchandise the success of Discovery Education's existing partnerships with organizations and school districts.
- Proactively maintain a thorough understanding of Discovery Education's overall goals and strategic vision for the future of education, and the private sector's role within the mission to reimagine teaching and learning.
- Collaboratively establish structured rollout plans including user management, Professional learning support with their direct reports.
- Identify jeopardy accounts due to persistent technical or account issues and escalate, providing recommended course of action to restore customer satisfaction.
- Execute renewal process to ensure timely retention of business.
- As needs change from the field, the PSC will work with the Partner Success Leadership team to prioritize responsibilities and support accounts accordingly.
Requirements

- A proven track record of revenue generation and quota attainment in complex, solutions sales (products and services) selling to a variety of decision makers.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational and verbal/written communication skills as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
- A growth mindset and team-oriented character - motivated by helping others succeed as much as individual success.
- Microsoft Office, CRM tool (Salesforce highly preferred) Gainsight and Vidyard experience.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer success, account management, and/or sales with a proven track record of territory management, consultative sales and exceptional client relations.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training and experience.
