Yext is seeking a motivated, collaborative Partner Success Manager to join the Partnerships & Alliances team. You would be tasked with providing technical expertise and training to strategic partners such as GSIs, RSIs, Digital Agencies, and ISVs in order to increase the value of Yext’s solutions and drive growth. You are a passionate relationship builder and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment managing multiple priorities at once. This is an opportunity to enable partners on Yext technology and its value, evangelize new capabilities, and develop joint selling strategies. As a Partner Success Manager you will articulate product positioning to both business and technical users in competitive scenarios with the aim of creating strong partnerships and a healthy sales pipeline for our direct sales teams. Experience training and/or implementing software on behalf of external clients or partners and serving as an ongoing technical resource will be critical to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Alliance Partner Sales Team to evangelize the Yext platform and solutions to our partner ecosystem and assist in developing and executing Alliance partnership go-to-market strategies.
- Assess potential partners’ technical capabilities during the recruitment process and use the results to determine the suitability of potential partners for the organization.
- Onboard and train partners on the technical details of Yext solutions, key product functionality, and how to implement and manage Yext on behalf of mutual clients.
- Help Alliance Partners complete technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Propose technical and creative business solutions to strategic partners in pre-opportunity Alliance Partner development conversations.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Solutions Architecture, Services, and other teams across the organization to ensure partner needs are met.
- Communicate the value of Yext solutions and position in the industry.
- Develop a long-term strategy with the Alliance Partner Sales Team and Partners to ensure mutual client success.
- Provide regular enablement and education to our partnership community as a technical Yext expert.
- Share product roadmap with Partners and provide recommendations on how best to use or integrate new features.
- Understand Partner business goals and anticipate future needs to deliver optimal solutions.
- Support the Yext Revenue team by leveraging partners to drive adoption of the Yext platform and accelerate deal cycles.
- Identify integration opportunities and communicate the value of integration with the Yext platform to prospective ISV partners.
- Support ISV partners as they build and launch integrations with the Yext platform, including providing direct technical expertise and/or liaising with Yext Product teams as necessary.
What You Have
- BA/BS degree or similar university level education.
- Minimum 5 years of business experience preferably in a SaaS business environment
- All candidates, who may not have the above-listed years’ experience, but can demonstrate the necessary skills, may apply and will be considered.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing/product experiences and an understanding of how they connect brands and consumers.
- Sales and/or pre-sales experience with SaaS/Cloud products; experience in a marketing performance environment with a solid understanding of SEO and SEM is preferred.
- Experience in a partner- or customer-facing role providing superior client service and relationship management.
- Demonstrated history of quota attainment or team goal attainment.
- Experience working with C-Level and top-line management to understand business strategy and objectives.
- Ability to develop business cases that communicate requirements and solutions strategy to enterprise level prospects and customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be dynamic in presenting ideas to prospective partners from VP to C-level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience in project management.
