Senior Partner Training Specialist, Partner Education

POSITION OVERVIEW 

Building36 Technologies, a subsidiary company of Alarm.com, is looking for a Training Specialist to join the Partner Education Team. The PE Team is responsible for developing and maintaining course content on all Building36 products & services.  The ideal candidate is well versed in technology, well-spoken and enthusiastic, enjoys building business relationships, and excels in an ever-changing environment.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop key product content and maintain and update existing course content
• Create and maintain Train the Trainer program for internal teams
• Develop and launch onboarding program for new partners  
• Perform needs assessment with internal & external stakeholders to determine training needs 
• Create feedback loops from partners and customers on how we can improve our product and tools
• Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay up to date with new Building36 product release features to properly respond to partner inquiries
• Create instructor guides, PowerPoints, hands-on labs, webinars, job aids, and assessments
• Up to 10% travel to engage with partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree 
• 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering virtual & ILT content 
• Knowledge of training methodologies and competency assessment
• Well versed in instructional design 
• Works effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with working with multiple cross-functional partners
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and Webinar Platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for new technologies and working in fast moving markets
• Experience working with external clients, a plus
