Job Description

Who We Are

In an increasingly complex world where people are starving for someone they can trust, we stand for something simple: always put the client first. We do well by doing good for those we serve. It's the ultimate measure. We believe in providing value beyond a doubt and in the notion that time will either expose you or promote you, based on your willingness to embrace change.

We serve financial advisors and investors through three entities, each headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska: Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching, and Carson Partners. We provide coaching and partnership services to advisor firms - and straightforward financial advice to the investing public. We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.

Who We Want

The Partner Development Associate provides a qualified candidate the opportunity to build a career in wealth management, as well as participate in a comprehensive development program designed to equip them with the skills to assume a leadership/ownership role within a Carson Wealth Partner Firm.

The role is designed as a two-year opportunity. Candidates will support Carson Wealth advisors and Partners in a paraplanner capacity while participating in additional training in advanced planning solutions, financial technology, and investments. Throughout the two-year program, candidates will benefit from coaching and development to support the development of both a "business-owner" mindset and the skills to support it.

Candidates for this role should be located in Omaha, NE or the surrounding area and/or willing to relocate upon acceptance of the position.

What To Expect

  • Support Carson Wealth advisors and Carson partners in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Effectively utilize Carson Group's "tech stack" including MoneyGuide, Holistaplan and other applications.
  • Support the firm's Advanced Solutions Team (AST) functional teams, Investments Team, and Client Acquisition Team
  • Work towards attainment of the CFPĀ® designation

In addition, during both years, candidates will be expected to:

  • Participate in the Partner Development Program opportunities
  • Attend firm client and Partner events.

What You Need

  • Business development skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
  • A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Commitment to pursue the CFPĀ® designation as well as the Series 65

In exchange for your expertise, we offer a base salary, bonus potential, 401(k) plus matching, health benefits, and a great working environment. This is your chance to play a key role in the continued success of our company. Our culture is fast-paced, collaborative, innovative, and focused on healthy living. Carson strives to promote the health and wellness of its stakeholders by maintaining a tobacco-free workplace.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, age or any other characteristic protected by law.
