Partnership Development Manager, Google Play, Games Partnerships
Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working in the games industry and leading partnerships with mobile games developers
- 8 years of experience in Business Development, partnerships, strategic sales, strategy/management consulting.
- Experience in deal negotiation, Identifying strategic partners, building deal models & structuring agreements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Experience analyzing performance data and communicating trends
- Experience using analytical insight and employing thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions
- Experience leading and executing successful initiatives with cross functional teams (e.g. product management, legal, finance, marketing), influence executive stakeholders, and lead internal / external communications and negotiations
- Ability to work autonomously to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid & collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial, contractual and other value points with internal / external stakeholders across all levels of management

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Salary Range Info:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $154,000-$244,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead partnership strategy and relationship management with top game developers
- Identify emerging opportunities, market developments and challenges in the global gaming ecosystem and develop strategic recommendations and plans
- Provide consultations to key partner game businesses based on analysis of partner metrics, performance, best practices and strategic priorities
- Provide actionable insights to shape product and commercial big bets, and drive impact collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, payments etc) to grow the Play ecosystem
- Advocate for and drive adoption of strategic Google Play and Android platform and products
- Stay up to date on latest developments within mobile technology and game development through research, attending / speaking at events, meeting with influences etc, and provide feedback on features and business models to product / engineering teams
