Partnership Private Equity Port Cos Managerr Summary:

As a TaxManager for RSM you will be responsible for the following job duties which arefocused around three core concepts (Technical & Quality Expertise, People& Talent Management, and Client Service/Business Development):

• Serve as a Career Advisor, mentor orcoach to one or more employees, which will include providing honest and timelyperformance feedback - approximately 10- 20% of your time
• Train and develop staff members -approximately 10-20% of your time
• Provide detailed review and analysisof complex tax returns - approximately up to 35% of your time
• Work on multiple complex issueswhile communicating in a non-technical manner to facilitate communicationbetween the client and the service team while managing the risk for both theclient and the firm
• Serve as the Tax client servicecoordinator for appropriate clients
• Advise clients on a full spectrum ofcorporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and generalmergers and acquisitions activities
• Reviewing research findings andensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards
• Assist with new businessdevelopment, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients
• Manage corporate client needs withrespect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
• Remain up-to-date on current taxpractices and changes in tax law
• Other duties as assigned
• Some travel may be required

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree -preferably in Accounting or related field of study
• CPA, JD, LLM, or EA
• Minimum of 5 yearsof experience in Public Accounting
• Ability to workclosely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary informationfor tax service requirements
• Experience with oneor more of the following: S-Corps, C-Corps, or Partnerships
• Effective verbaland written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledgeof tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
• Strong technicalskills in accounting and tax preparation, industry specialization a plus
• Ability to handlemultiple tasks simultaneously
• Experiencepreparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740's
• Experience indealing with international tax matters a plus
