At-Bay is looking for a Partnership Success Lead (PSL) who is passionate about customers, ensures successful and on-time API integration launches, maximizes production, expands into new growth areas and enables partners to have all tools needed to sell At-Bay products.
The Partnership Success Lead is the central touchpoint for our Brokers and Platform customers, orchestrating the entire Partner lifecycle from prospecting, through integration to ongoing management and production. This role will work closely with our API Integration Lead, API Product Manager and Underwriting to ensure that we get new Partners up and running with API access to our insurance products as quickly as possible. The PSL manages the customer relationship, coordinates internally within At-Bay, drives product adoption and guides the Partner to take full advantage of our offerings. Fundamentally, the PSL ensures Partners derive value from our API, and ultimately grow their relationship with us.
You will be a founding member of the Partnerships team. You will need to support partners while helping At-Bay create this function for the enterprise, including building out repeatable processes and operational structure. The role will report to the Head of Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead business contact for Partners, from aligning on integration/launch timelines to coordinating as needed with marketing/operations/technical to ensure a smooth go live experience. Once live with our API, PSL tracks all production metrics in order to maximize utilization and conversion of users on their platform
- Develop and deliver a roadmap to success for each Partner. Drive sales and marketing/positioning on the platform by targeting users (brokers/agents) and understanding how we win.
- Understand the needs of the Partner, their broker users and the end buyer to identify opportunities to expand our footprint and depth of engagement. Diagnose and help solve friction points and drive efficiencies in the At-Bay product lifecycle (buy, renew, update, change policies).
- Manage multiple partners at a time, balancing business-level and technical conversations across the organization. Deliver launches on time and annual revenue targets for each partner.
- Create/utilize processes for evaluating new opportunities and partnerships
- Streamline repeatable processes for Partner implementations for cross-functional efficiency and organizational growth
- Serve as a primary point of contact for execution of MVP and develop requirements around subsequent features list for partners
- Prioritize pipeline of features through evaluation of various factors, including, but not limited to expected ROI, growth potential and Partners’ needs.
Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in a client facing insurance role (ie: sales, underwriting, claims, business analyst or technical role in insurance required)
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex systems (APIs, workflows, , etc.) and rapidly build domain and product knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with a continuous desire to improve your technical acumen
- An ability to recognize repeated user-facing issues and build scalable solutions
- Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify/remediate suboptimal processes
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and a passion for providing unrivaled customer service
