Cheddar is a revolutionary payments and rewards app with a closed user group of users in the UK. Using open banking data, we identify high value customers for our retail partners and enable them to reach groups of new, lapsed and existing customers with different offers. As such, campaigns with Cheddar are geared to drive incremental revenue and are a cost efficient way to win new customers and get more from existing customers.

Job Description

Your role will be to develop positive relationships with retail partners and marketing agencies once on boarded onto Cheddar. You’ll be their first point of contact and you’ll work with them to promote their offers to our audience and work with the data science team to ensure that offers are optimised for cost and revenue.

In this role, you will:

  • Set up campaigns for new partners, helping ensure campaigns are both effective and optimised for budget, using case studies to inform your recommendations.

  • Write SQL queries to answer specific questions for retail partners and the business. 

  • Monitor campaigns, write up performance reports and make recommendations for campaign adjustments.

  • Identify unproductive offers and work with the data science & marketing teams to improve.

  • Build case studies from campaign results in each category to assist in acquiring new partners.

  • Answer any partner questions and concerns in a timely fashion.

  • Assist the sales team in building campaign forecasts using our open banking data & case studies.

  • Control marketing communications to the users working with the marketing team to send emails & push notifications, inc boosts and seasonal promotions, to our users.

  • Write and distribute a regular partners newsletter.

  • Optimise our commercial arrangements with partners.

  • Take on ad hoc projects to support the acquisition and retention of merchant partners.

  • Provide customer insights and bespoke reports working with the data science team.

  • Represent Cheddar at events.

  • Always look to improve the partner onboarding and campaign monitoring processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in online media, marketing and business development.
  • Experience in advertising, e-commerce, affiliates and retail.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Experience using SQL to analyse data, build dashboards and present reports.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Likeable, persuasive, relationship skills, communicator, timely and reliable, presentations and reports.
