About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Partnerships Manager, API Integrations reporting to our VP of Product on our R&D team.
The role is a great opportunity for someone to spearhead our tech partnership alliances in close collaboration with R&D leadership. This person will develop, launch and scale our partnerships ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally to maximize the impact our partnerships network has for our customers and business.

What you'll do
- Own identifying, prioritizing, and establishing new tech partnerships that further our product strategy with input from leadership and cross-functional partners
- Develop and implement a scalable operational framework for supporting the partner lifecycle including identifying, signing, onboarding, supporting, renewal and offboarding
- Define and execute joint product development and go-to-market initiatives with partners and our internal teams
- Measure potential and actual impact of partnerships by defining key metrics, and using those metrics for decision makingCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a great mutual customer and partner experience
- Strategize long term growth and monetization opportunities for partnerships
What you'll bring
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in building SaaS partnerships or business development, with a demonstrated record of technical understanding
- Relationship Management: ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- API Knowledge: a strong understanding of APIs and product development processes across multiple teams internally and with partner organizations
- Ownership mindset: Loves being accountable to outcomes; adaptable and able to navigate ambiguity with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong communicator: a persuasive and effective negotiator, fluent across business and technical subjects as well as levels from engineer to GMs
- Strategic: strong prioritization skills, balancing short-term with long-term and connecting to higher-level goals
- Data Driven: ability to define and track both product and commercial metrics
- Project management: manage partner pipeline, communicating updates and changes clearly, holding parties accountable, and switching contexts effectively
Pay transparency
Ontra considers candidate location and experience when evaluating compensation levels. Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as variable compensation, which is not included in the base pay range below. If you have been selected to participate in our interview process, we encourage you to speak with your Talent Acquisition Partner about compensation for this role.
Base pay range
$138,000 - $193,000 USD
