Part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Shullman Orthodontics is looking for an Oral Surgeon to join the practice one day per week. Shullman Orthodontics has been in business since 2005 and we treat children and adults. Guaranteed referral source of all patients who are in need of oral surgery treatment related to orthodontic treatment. Space is built-out and plumbed for oral surgery. The oral surgery suite is ready to go immediately for use. All equipment, staff, dental supplies and patients are supplied. We are looking for the right Oral Surgeon to treat our patients.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Oral Surgeon located in Wellington, FL. The Oral Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgeries related to the mouth, jaw, and face, including tooth extractions, 3rd molar extractions, and canine exposures with ligation. The Oral Surgeon will also conduct patient consultations and develop customized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Current state license to practice Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Florida
• Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial conditions and injuries
• Proficient in administering general anesthesia and IV sedation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals
• Commitment to patient comfort and safety
