Patent Finance Administrator

The Patent Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the IP teams across Danaher acting as a dedicating resource to ensure on time payment of inventor renumeration whilst supporting inventor assignment activities. The Patent Finance Administrator will report to the Director, IP Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with IP Leads, understanding needs and policies of each group.
• Assist in the development of Standard Work processes to support inventor renumeration payments, consistent with local laws.
• Develop matrix of contacts within the global organization to help facilitate the payment of inventor renumeration.
• Maintain IP docketing tool, ensuring up to date information capture of payments applied.
• Coordinate and track payments with compensation teams and IP databases.
• Establish IP electronic Wall of Fame and increase IP recognition.
• Develop daily management/visual management (DM/VM) for project tracking and execution.
• Organize inventor recognition events.
• Coordinate with inventors, outside vendors, IP Leads, and technology leads.
• Draft and obtain signatures on all formal documents (assignments, declarations, POAs).
• Assist in global notarization and legalization projects supporting groups.

Preferred Background and Skills:

• 2+ years' experience and understanding of IP remuneration processes, rules, and procedures, including local requirements in Germany and China.
• Proficiency in use of IP docketing tools including IP Folio and Foundation IP.
• Data driven, detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and systems administration skills.
• Ability to use continuous improvement procedures and Danaher's Business System (DBS) to drive results.
• Ability to engage global stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize work and align priorities with stakeholders' needs.
  The hourly range for this role is $ 22-$27 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
