Patient Account Representative (Community Outreach)
Job Description
Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position provides front office support performing various clerical and technical duties and is responsible for financial counseling of patients, effective management of financial transactions, and timely entering of charges, patient referrals, coordinates Vaccines For Children program, scheduling patient appointments, patient registration, maintaining medical records, determining program eligibility and billing. May perform duties at multiple work locations.
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, write and speak Spanish preferred.
- Computer literacy required, including Word and Excel.
- Medical billing with ICD-10 and CPT coding experience highly desired.
- Medical insurance verification and billing experience highly desired.
