Job Description

Our Story

Complex conditions like COPD and congestive heart failure (CHF) are incredibly challenging to manage. People who are already struggling with isolation and the burden of these conditions become increasingly frustrated and disengaged, eventually falling through the cracks and landing in the ER. This cycle perpetuates poor health outcomes and excessive medical costs.

At NuvoAir we believe people deserve a better healthcare experience.

Our team embraces the challenges that others can’t or won’t - by integrating our clinical team with technology, NuvoAir creates a highly empathetic and personalized experience for each patient. This model not only helps patients in their homes, it also supports patients through our clinical trial partners.

Living our Company Values

• Patient obsessed: Every decision is made with our main focus in mind - improving the lives of patients

• Act like an owner: Ownership means we speak up, share ideas, give feedback, and are all accountable for growth.

• Focus on what matters: Creating meaningful solutions to challenging healthcare problems requires simplicity, clarity, and using our unique leverage

• Build to learn: Failing courageously is a virtue that drives learning and stems from an innovative spirit

• Practice confident humility: We aim to hold ourselves to the highest standards of humility, curiosity, transparency, and personal development

WORK HOURS: T/W/TH/F (afternoons)

At NuvoAir Medical, we work directly with healthcare providers to keep their patients healthier. Doctors refer patients to our clinical practice, and we use innovative technology and a dedicated team to ensure their ongoing care and wellbeing.

In this sales-focused internship, you’ll play a vital role in patient engagement and enrollment by communicating directly with patients to introduce them to NuvoAir’s services (expect to spend at least 85% of your time on the phone).

What you’ll be responsible for:

Handle incoming calls from patients interested in learning more about NuvoAir's care offerings

Educate patients on the value of our clinical services and how we can improve their health outcomes

Schedule appointments with our providers to ensure patients begin their care journey with us

Follow up and nurture leads, reaching out to patients who need more information or additional time to schedule

Utilize our EHR and CRM systems to manage patient data, track progress, and ensure a seamless patient experience

You would be a good fit:

Gain experience in healthcare sales

Build their skills in patient outreach, relationship-building, and customer engagement

Learn how to convert interest into action by scheduling appointments and driving patient enrollment

Develop expertise in healthcare technology and patient management tools

If you're an organized, results-driven communicator who's excited about making a difference in patient care, this internship will give you the hands-on sales experience you need to succeed.
