Payment Operations Specialist (SaaS Solution)

Job SummaryÂ
This position reports directly to our General Manager, Global Payments Solutions, while collaborating with the implementation team and customers.Â
The Payment Operations Specialist will analyze invoices and payments that were processed on behalf of our customers. The Specialist will utilize available resources and follow prescribed methods to maximize revenue from the Payments solution. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are integral for success in this role.Â

Location
Remote/Work from Home from the following US States:
CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT,Â
Expected base salary range
Depending on location and experience of candidate: $60-65,000 base pay, performance bonus and listed benefits.
Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsÂ

Work as an extension of our customers’ AP team to process due invoices using the PairSoft Pay solution

Collect and analyze data related to customers’ accounts payable with the goal of optimizing the payment delivery method and timeliness of payments being received by suppliers

Perform supplier / vendor research to determine accepted payment methodsÂ

Meet with customers on a regular basis to discuss reports on their weekly accounts payable process and areas for improvement

Perform extensive research and utilize a sense of urgency during critical moments to ensure timely action to urgent situationsÂ

Use your propensity for process improvement to make suggestions to improve procedures

Work independently with minimal supervision as assignedÂ

Performs other related duties as assignedÂ
RequirementsÂ
-
At least completed high school education. Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferredÂ

3+ years of related experience requiredÂ
-
Excellent English verbal and written communication skillsÂ
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel-pivot tables, V-lookup and other functions, reporting skills to manage extensive lists properly), software savvy: Sage Intaact or related software as well as other accounting software programsÂ

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentÂ

Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customersÂ

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailÂ

Professionalism and sensitivity to professionally discuss a difficult conversation with customers
