Kyo is a leading provider of therapy for individuals with autism. Our core service is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a clinically proven form of therapy for autism.  We serve thousands of families across ten states and are growing rapidly to meet the need for services.  Each day, our team seeks to make every moment count for our clients and for each other. 

Kyo is a fast growing provider of autism services in the education/health sector. We design and implement therapy programs for children with special needs. This job is at our Concord Office, within walking distance to BART. 

We are seeking a part-time (20 hrs/week) Payment Poster to join the Billing team. 

Compensation: $18-$20/hour DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Post all EFT and manual check deposit payments.
• Enter credit cards into the system.
• Charge credit cards for patient responsibility
• Contact families regarding declined credit cards
• Assist with other duties in the Revenue department such as answering questions families have, sending invoices, etc.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 year works experience in medical billing, credentialing or related field
• Understanding of finance fundamentals
• Demonstrated proficiency with productivity software (Microsoft Office or GSuite)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced, expanding organization
• The ideal candidate is proactive, result driven, extremely organized. They pay attention to detail, collaborate independently and within a team, a strong problem solver. We’re looking for a person who is a self-starter and gets things done!
• Experience with HIPAA and compliance-sensitive environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
• The individual must be able to effectively work in a normal production environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary. 
• Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.  
• Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals.
