Payment Poster

**Hybrid Remote Opportunity**

BCA Financial Services Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Payment Poster with exceptional oral and written communication skills. The Payment Poster is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and timely posting of incoming and outgoing consumer payments. This is an entry-level position.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position which also requires working a half day at least one Saturday per month. The department office hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm. This position is required to work onsite at our office located at 18001 Old Cutler Road, Miami, FL 33157. 

Essential Functions 

• Responsible for posting a high volume of transactions (payments and adjustments) consistently, accurately and in accordance with company procedures to consumer accounts from various sources daily
• Balance accounts by running tapes, proofreading and verifying balances with client systems
• Prepare cash and checks for bank deposits and maintain accurate recording of deposits
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, memos, letters, checks, account activity statements, reports and other documents 
• Maintain and update posting status, end of month, and other logs as needed
• Responsible for assuring daily files are received and processed
• Receive and count cash
• Reconcile and balance consumer accounts
• Review and validate payment arrangements in the validation report
• Assist with special projects as necessary and additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of credits and debits
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in Excel and Outlook
• Must be capable of prioritizing competing demands
• Strong working knowledge of the English language
• Ability to occasionally work a half day on Saturday's, once per month
