SUMMARY

Performs all aspects of Undistributed payment posting and missing payments for large physician practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Utilizes computer and software provided.

Maintain all assigned Work Ques

Posts payments and adjustments via Work Ques in Epic. Keep posting within a three day window of Work Que create date.

Balance each batch daily.

Communicates with supervisor throughout the day regarding status of work flow.

Make necessary posting corrections as needed.

Keeps management informed of client problems on communication and correspondence.

Able to meet established and agreed upon goals within 90 days of continuous employment.

Must have the ability to get along with others in a close office setting.

Must have the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.

Must be willing to function and cooperate as member of a team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Good computer and keyboarding skills required. Must have knowledge of office software and medical billing software.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
