Payment Project Manager
Job Description
- Implementation experience of Payments processing lifecycle, Payment types like – ACH, RTGS, Real-time, Cross border.
- Good knowledge of Core Banking Applications like Flexcube (12x & 14x) & Finacle (10x),
- Experience in OBPM (Oracle Banking Payments) and trade application OBTF (Oracle Banking Trade Finance).
- Experience of ISO 20022 migration - SWIFT transformation of MT to MX worldwide for all banking payment & non-payment messages.
- Good knowledge of MT, PACS, PAIN, and CAMT messages with implementation experience.
- Experience in Payments Engines/ Payments integration layers/ Payments Channels/Bulk Payments
- Lead and manage end-to-end payment projects, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to payment projects.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in payment processes.
- Conduct post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in payment-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, processes, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in payment processing.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
