Payment Services Associate

Job Description

Interactive Brokers Group (IBG) seeks a Cashiering Associate to join its Global Cashiering team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment. Under the direction of the Global Client Payments Director and in collaboration with the Global Cashiering team, this position will support client payment services functions related to funds disbursement, receipt, and exception processing for brokerage clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve client funding exceptions
• Resolve transaction discrepancies between the firm's internal system and the bank statement
• Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Client Service and other internal groups on client funding exceptions
• Speak with banks on client funding issues
• Identify and design improvements to cashiering systems and payment methods
• Execute payments via SWIFT messages to banks
• Participate in a variety of projects

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong communications skills
• Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a logical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and use of these tools to present data clearly and concisely
• A high degree of comfort with computers and technology
