As a Barclays Payments Product Manager, you will join the Product Management Group within Transaction Banking. This is an opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the products, with full accountability for the end-to-end management of these products throughout the product lifecycle. You will build and manage products on an end-to-end basis that generate sustainable returns by helping clients to achieve their business ambitions in the such as making their banking easier and enabling their business to grow.
Salary / Rate Minimum: 145,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 215,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

What will you be doing?• Adopting an innovative, risk based and client focused approach when designing and changing products• Combining client insight with a solid grasp of the financial, risk and operational underpinnings of the product to recommend propositions that solve client problems• Owning the end-to-end client journey, ensuring that the core processes that support the product are robust and deliver the right outcome for our clients• Owning periodic Product Reviews and overseeing regulatory compliance, adherence to operating model and ownership of regulatory impacts• Defining and commercializing product strategy and actively scanning the external environment to identify any risks and opportunities to your product line• Working as part of a team that takes accountability for ensuring all product changes are delivered in a low risk way, benefitting customers and generating sustainable returns• Building successful, deep relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Barclays to enable delivery of Payments solutions• Adopting an innovative, risk based and client focused approach when designing and changing processes
What we're looking for:• Bachelor's degree and three years' experience managing customer needs and benefits, pricing approach, risk mitigation and end to end processes• Solid grasp of Payments products (Wire, ACH, Check, and FX) including industry standard formats (MT, NACHA, SWIFT, XML)• Financial services experience with knowledge of Corporate Banking Products and the financial services regulatory environment• Proven track record of owning and delivering projects and/or initiatives
Skills that will help you in the role:• Experience of product ownership in a financial services organisation• Experience of working in a sound regulatory environment with attention to the detail• Working knowledge of the full range of business disciplines e.g. Compliance, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Risk• Project and change management skills and expertise
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
