Job Summary:

Acting as the first touchpoint in our sales cycle, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) research and reach out to potential future customers. Your day-to-day as a Sales Development Representative at Fullsteam typically includes:

  • Researching and creating targeted lists of people (prospects) who could benefit from the client's tech product/service.
  • Reaching out to curated, targeted lists to identify sales opportunities
  • Guide qualified prospects onto the next stage of the sales process by booking a further conversation between the prospect and the client Account Executive
  • Continuously improve sales development skills and learn the different career paths to create a lucrative future in high-tech sales

This position is located in the Fullsteam corporate office in Auburn, AL., but remote candidates will be considered based on sales experience and payments industry knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting research to identify new leads
  • Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Attend product training meetings to develop an understanding of our customer value propositions
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representatives
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
  • Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting

Primary Qualifications:

  • Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience
  • Must be able to travel within the United States on a monthly basis while maintaining professional decorum
  • Working knowledge of our software market or the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
  • You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

If this position is remote, the candidate would need to have a suitable work environment set up as their home office and be comfortable managing their own schedule in a non-corporate office environment.
