Job Description

This role will interact with Nextech clients, uncover merchant needs of the client and build a pipeline of interested customers with the intent to close deals for Nextech Payments solutions.

All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other rgeulations, as appropriate. 

 Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create, qualify and close sales opportunities for Nextech’s Payment solutions following a consultative sales approach
  • Analyze client’s merchant information in order to uncover needs
  • Recommend both merchant services and point of sale technology to meet the client’s needs
  • Learn about and maintain knowledge of Nextech Payments products
  • Partner with cross department teammates in order to educate clients and close deals
  • Achieve established key performance metrics
  • Establish and maintain credibility and trust with clients

 



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years B2B merchant / payment systems sales experience
  • Experience with a consultative sales approach
  • Experience with negotiating merchant contract pricing
  • Experience analyzing merchant statements
  • Success meeting and exceeding sales metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Enjoy a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to find success working both within a team and independently

    Working Environment

    • General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels. 
    • Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 35%
    • Periods of stress may occur.

    Physical Demands

    • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor
    • Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel
