About The Role
We’re looking for a Payor Contracting Lead to join our team at Grow Therapy. Your role will be to lead our strategy and execution of re-negotiating our agreements with our payor partners. You will be responsible for managing relations with major payers, re-negotiating terms and rates to reflect our company quality and progress, and establishing innovative value-based partnerships with payers where appropriate, across multiple lines of business. You will have the opportunity to build out a team under you as part of this role. You will work closely with our executive leadership in your efforts, reporting directly to our COO to start, and regularly interacting with our Head of Insurance Operations and Payor Enrollment lead.
You’d be a great fit if…
- You are a leader - have 5+ years of experience with complex payor contracts and negotiation across multiple states and lines of business, leading teams to achieve quarterly goals
- You invest in relationships - develop longitudinal relationships with key stakeholders, enabling unique access to opportunities based on trust and reliability
- You take initiative - proactive in finding new opportunities or surfaces for collaboration, eager to take on new challenges and navigate uncharted territory, able to think independently

- Serve as a thought leader in our renegotiation strategy, helping set targets for success and managing internal and external relationships to ensure objectives are met or exceeded
- Assist with negotiation process, researching payor needs, reviewing language, and implementing strategies that benefit all stakeholders
- Monitor competitive environment and trends on innovative reimbursement models, leading our team to restructure our contracts where appropriate
