Payroll Accountant

Join our 7 member accounting team as a Payroll Accountant, reporting to the Lead Payroll Accountant. Calculate payroll, process entries, and provide guidance to ensure accurate payments. Job Description

• All payroll related calculations and payments;
• Sick notes, vacations, other entries processing;
• Consulting employees on payroll calculations;
• Communication with employees – in case of uncertainities;
• Preparing of statistics reports;
• Preparation of reference notes for employees;
• Submitting employee movement reports to tax authorities;
• Cooperation with tax authorities regarding registration of non-residents, issue of temporary registration codes;
• Ensuring that taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with the tax legislation of the Republic of Latvia;

Qualifications

• Professional accounting education;
• Good knowledge of English & Latvian languages;
• Russian language knowledge will be considered as an advantage;
• Good level of computer skills;
• High sense of responsibility;
• Ability to accurately fulfil the Lead Payroll Accountant orders and work tasks;
• Ability to work in a team.
