For This Role
Our Accounting team is looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for all payroll-related activities, ensuring the correct calculation and distribution of wages, vacations, and sick leaves. You will verify payments, manage business trip settlements, and handle civil contract payments. This role also involves submitting reports to government agencies and keeping team member records updated.
We seek a specialist with the ability to learn fast, strong attention to detail, and an openness to working in a team.
In this role, you will:

• Calculate payroll, vacations, and sick leave following the current labor legislation of Ukraine
• Make settlements with accountable persons, calculate foreign business trips according to the law
• Conduct calculations under civil contracts
• Calculate the vacation reserve
• Submit information about the hiring and dismissal of employees to the regulatory authorities
• Maintain up-to-date information about employees and working conditions in the accounting system
• Generate reports for statistical authorities (1-PV; 3-PV; 3-debt) and the tax office (4-DF), submit applications to the FSS for the payment of sick leave, reports on the payment of sick leave and internal reports
• Keep accounting records for the accrual of wages, vacations, and other payments to accountable persons, within the timeframes established by internal regulations in Ukraine
• Assisting in resolving issues related to personnel and military records
• Preparation and archiving of primary documentation related to payroll
• Preparation of summary information on accruals and payments for the group of companies for accounting in global payroll
• Participation in tax, audit and Pension Fund inspections
• Monitoring of legislative changes, adaptation of internal processes to meet legal requirements

Skills you'll need to bring:

• Higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a payroll accountant or auditor/assistant auditor responsible for verifying the relevant accruals
• Strong knowledge of National Accounting Standards, tax legislation, and the Labor Code of Ukraine, with practical experience applying these regulations and understanding their impact on financial statements
• Experience in preparing statistical and tax reports
• Experience in passing tax and PFU audits
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Spreadsheets
• Experience working with 1C, MeDoc

As a plus:

• Experience with Vchasno, SOTA
• Experience with Odoo
