Role Summary

This position reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of DexSys as described below:

General Job Duties:
• To display an objective, fair, professional and consistent approach by following the principles of The Magna Employee's Charter to help ensure a satisfied workplace for all employees.
• To participate in continuous improvement activities that enhance the working environment at DexSys.
• To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.
• To follow DexSys policies and display conduct expected of DexSys employees as described in the DexSys employee handbook
• To observe DexSys health and safety objectives and support Company directed health and safety directives which provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all DexSys employees.
• To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of DexSys.
• To support and following of Company policies and business objectives while performing the specific responsibilities of your job.
• Assist in the processing and investigation of corrective actions as required.
• Maintain floor visibility throughout all departments

Key Responsibilities
• Act as lead person for payroll administration in the E-time and ADP systems. (i.e. verifying punches, changing punches, verifying hours, adjusting schedules, adjustments to ADP information, yield bonus checks etc.)
• Process weekly payroll and special payroll runs
• Maintain vacation balances for salary and hourly
• Maintain and Track Attendance
• Complete journal entries recording payroll information to the general ledger
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Previous experience as a HR Generalist and/ or Payroll Admin preferred.
• ADP expereince preferred but not required
• Minimum five years' work experience in automotive manufacturing desired.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Must have experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel software applications.

Educational Requirements
• Degree in a Human Resources field of study preferred.
• Previous training in Human Resources required.
