Payroll Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a remarkable Payroll Administrator join our team to handle processing timely and accurate multi-state US and Canada payroll for all Tyler divisions.
Responsibilities
- Administer US and Canada payroll for approximately 7500 employees across multiple states, countries and divisions.
- Work with division HR and finance teams to receive payroll information for processing.
- Prepare employee timesheets for processing and maintain the timekeeping system.
- Act as primary contact for division payroll administrators and employees with payroll and paycheck questions; escalate if needed.
- Resolve payroll and paycheck issues in a timely manner.
- Process terminations and other employee changes through workflow.
- Responsible for appropriate withholding of taxes, benefit plan deductions, and garnishments.
- Register for new withholding tax agencies as needed.
- Create and maintain department documentation.
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience is required.
- Knowledge and experience with multi-state payroll would be a great plus!
- Knowledge of payroll taxes required.
- Experience with payroll software required. UKG payroll experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work with multiple stakeholders, providing top notch customer service to all employees.
- Superior attention to detail while working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and accuracy involving the ability to quality check one's own work for consistent accuracy.
- Complete standard tasks with minimal direction.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
