POSITION OVERVIEW
KKR’s Human Capital team applies collaborative efforts and an entrepreneurial mindset to ensure that our core values- teamwork, integrity, innovation, diversity- are instilled at every aspect of our firm. The Human Capital Operations team is an integral part of the larger Human Capital team and plays a critical role in ensuring seamless global operations. We partner with our colleagues across businesses and locations to develop and deliver effective, technology-enabled solutions and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide organizational support to ensure accuracy of North America payrolls (US and Canada) for over 1500 employees and process input and validation of data changes in ADP payroll as well as timesheets for non-exempt employees
- Process employee payroll inquiries including verification of employment and direct deposit information
- Coordinate payroll and vendor invoicing and internal and external audit requests
- Streamline process improvement to identify potential efficiencies and develop innovative solutions to enhance payroll systems
- Collaborate with the Finance department to support account reconciliation, funding, and general ledger support
- Proactively assist in ad-hoc projects in conjunction with the HC team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding organizational skills with high attention to detail for accuracy
- Sophisticated communication skills to interact and engage with individuals on different teams and technical levels to explain processes clearly and concisely
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Motivated, collaborator with a proactive mentality to help on projects, initiatives, and tasks with other members on the team and cross functional departments
- 2 years of payroll experience in a professional or financial services firm
- BA/BS or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge of excel with an interest in developing skillset
- Experience with an HRIS, particularly ADP and Workday
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $80,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
