Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of payroll experience
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)


Job Summary

As an Associate Payroll Administrator, you will perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for paycheck advances and processing terminations.

Responsibilities
  • Contact and assist clients in process of obtaining information for payroll production and tax-related issues
  • Answer and clarify client questions about payroll, paid out leave amounts and other compensation issues when asked
  • Coordinate and process team member payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Importing files from other teams
  • Foster communication and compliance between various teams as it pertains to payroll administration
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, other teams and team members to positively represent the team
  • Prepare and accurately key garnishments, data changes, paid time off submissions and a variety of other data elements (e.g., other earnings and deductions)
  • Create and update company and team member records in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines
  • Establish an understanding of tax filings by providing support to the Tax team
  • Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws and correspond with federal, state and local tax agencies
  • Ensure that all federal, state and local taxes, social security contributions, contributions to 401(k) and other deductions are withheld from individual paychecks
