What's exciting about the role

• Processing payroll on time, including but not limited to calculating wages, deductions, and withholdings using ADP.
• Ensures the accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and local filings.
• Process off-cycle payroll payments including but not limited to bonuses, commissions, and terminations.
• Facilitates enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits plans to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Serves as the point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries and issue resolution using the Service Now system.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll and benefits transactions.
• Remain updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency in payroll and benefits administration.
• Create and update onboarding documents and presentations.
• Present onboarding presentation to all newly hired employees.
• Complete payroll and benefits audits.
• Work to streamline and improve payroll and benefits processes.

Skills and Experience we desire

• You have earned a university degree with a major in finance, business or accounting.
• You are an authority in your knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
• 1-2 years of experience in finance/accounting structures, payroll process knowledge is a great asset.
• You have strong analytical skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Technology skills including PC and Web-based applications, proficiency in using Oracle system will be an asset.
• Fluency in English is a requirement.
• Other foreign language would be beneficial.
