This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for a Payroll Analyst.

In the role of Payroll Analyst, your primary responsibility will is processing payroll in Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing payroll in Workday on a timely and accurate basis
• Analyze payrolls to ensure proper handling of earnings and deductions
• Coordinate the handling of garnishments, support orders, levies, etc.
• Update and maintain payroll and other financial records including preparing account reconciliations
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Work with cross-functional groups on changes for Workday
• Review and implement legislative and regulatory requirements as well as corporate policy revisions for payroll
• Assist with various audits
• Work with a team and communicate effectively with employees, cross-functional groups and third parties

• Complete payrolls accurately and timely based on the pay dates identified.

Qualifications:

• Education requirement: High School Diploma required
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience required
• Basic experience with Excel and Word
• Knowledge of payroll and garnishments
• Demonstrated problem solving experience

Preferred:

• 5 years' experience with payroll processing and experience in a unionized environment

Scope:

• Individual contributor
• Manage payrolls with approximately 1,400 salaried employees, 1,700 unionized employees, and 400 hourly non-union employees
• Manage daily requests from internal customers
